In the twelve days of Christmas my true love sent to me a total of 364 gifts. That's a lot of wrapping. And impossible to replicate. Just imagine if you were sent 5 silver rings (we don't do gold) every day for 7 days. By the twelfth day that would mean you would've received (or sent) 35 silver rings!
Now that's if you stick to the rules of the song. But how about a modern adaptation. That's what I intend to do this year after a successful 12 days of Christmas last year. And what fun I've had planning this years little treats. But I can't tell you ... yet. Oh no. I don't want to spoil the surprise. I'll keep you posted on our Facebook page. The first day of Christmas being Christmas Eve ...

Another delivery of new products to add to the website. Beautiful purple agate, onyx, chalcedony and freshwater pearl jewellery sets, with silver toggle clasps and silver wires. And all with a silver nugget, adding an extra dimension to the jewellery.
Versatile, these are a perfect complement to that little black dress, for a girls night out, the Christmas do, New Year's Party or for ladies that lunch.
The silver nuggets are agate, onyx, chalcedony or pearls electroformed with .925 sterling silver. Electroforming is the technique used to fix the sterling silver to non-metal substances, in this case the agate, onyx, chalcedony and freshwater pearls.
BTW - does this photo look like a very smiley face? (",)

Blue John Stone is a rare, semi-precious mineral that is unique, only to be found on the hillside near Mam Tor, just outside Castleton in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. And hence why Castleton is nicknamed 'Gem of the Peaks'.
The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, which means blue yellow. This perfectly describes the semi precious stone, found by miners that were exploring the cave systems in search of lead.
Nowadays the caverns near Castleton are magnificent show caves, which I have visited with the ignorance of a child as to the rarity of the treasures locked inside. Treak Cliff Cavern still mines about 500 kg of Blue John Stone each year.
Chemically Blue John Stone is a calcium flourite (which means very little to me as I'm not a chemist). The form of flourite unique to Castleton is banded purple and yellow or grey.
Mined since 1750, Blue John Stone has been hand-crafted into ornaments and jewellery, some collections being housed in such places as Windsor Castle and the Vatican. So if it is good enough for the Queen and the Pope, I think that it is definitely a treasure for everyone.

Earrings? Bracelet? Necklace perhaps? Or Pendants?
If I were only allowed one item it would have to be a pendant. I absolutely love them and over the years I've created my own personal collection of semi precious pendants, of differing colours, sizes and designs, to suit every occasion, match my outfit or to reflect my mood.
So as a pendant fanatic you can imagine my ecstasy when I discovered David Scott Walker's stunning pendants, he's only been designing for over 30 years. And to discover the reversible pendants. This has got to be the ultimate two for one deal. My most favourite piece of jewellery is my Purple Goldstone & Mother of Pearl reversible silver pendant. The Purple Goldstone absolutely sparkles, catching the eye of all to admire. Whilst the Mother of Pearl, with its irridescent shimmer, offers a lighter option. What a perfect combination.
My favourite on the website at the moment has to be the red moss and red agate seal reversible silver pendant. What stunning colours. But which is your favourite?

... and are finally on the website. The David Scott Walker semi precious stone pendants and Blue John Stone jewellery are now on the website for you to browse.
And they're stunning.
The stones are beautiful, and the detail of the hallmarked silver is exceptional - something that cannot always be captured by the camera.
David Scott-Walker, is an experienced British jeweller individually cutting all the gemstones and setting them in sterling silver to provide you with a unique piece of handcrafted silver jewellery to treasure. You will find the British Hallmarks clearly stamped on most pieces, which often becomes part of the design in his unusual gemstone pendants.
The timelessness of the pieces hint at being an heirloom, whilst the simplicity of the design, so the stones speak for themselves, demonstrates a contemporary quality.
